A community cooperative, digitised without losing its soul
AL-HALAL Co-operative & Credit Society was founded in 2010 to give members of our community a halal, trustworthy alternative to conventional interest-based banking. What began as a paper-ledger cooperative has grown into a fully digital platform — while keeping the same principle at its core: finance should serve people, not exploit them.

There are other, entirely separate cooperative societies that also use the "AL-HALAL" name (for example, one based in Ojoo, Ibadan). We are not affiliated with them. Before downloading an app or acting on any message claiming to be from AL-HALAL, please confirm it references Moberi Idi-Ishin, Ibadan and this website, alhalalibadan.com.ng.
